This fanfic is set between the events of Mass Effect 2 and 3.
This is not a Commander Shepard story.

Update: Gave the whole thing an update. Fixed a lot of the writing style disparities and got rid of hopefully all the typos. Made some minor changes to the story based on your feedback.

Note: It doesn't matter if you read Jess or Elliot's story first really since their solo stories essentially occur at the same point in time.
Just read this. Decent FanFic, but with a few drawbacks. A couple of grammatical errors and swapped words, but thats minor. But I got a couple other problems with the story:
Stretching credulity and suspension of disbelief
• Most of Shepard's crew would not stay and work for the alliance after ME2. Zaeed, sure, Jack, why not, if she has a good enough reason. Kelly, Mordin and Grunt are a stretch, Kal Reegar, Kasumi and Samara even more so, but okay, for a short time, with very good reasons, maybe. Dying Thane taking his son Kolyat such a mission, no way. And a turian cabalist like Nyreen Kandros would never work with the alliance.
• I highly doubt that Dr. Mordin Solus would not notice that Dr. Eva Core is an android while closely working with her.
• A female salarian in a grunt unit of C-Sec seems highly improbable, given the gender proportions for that species and likely cultural implications.
• Jessica is fluent in OVER TWENTY alien languages. Sure, why not. /s
Factual errors
• There is a six-eyed Batarian on your Citadel. Batarians only have four eyes.
• Grunt uses biotics. Grunt isn't a biotic.
• There is no "French N7 Program" for Belladonna to graduate from, there are just French people in the one and only N7 Program of the alliance, which is located in Vila Militar in Rio de Janeiro.
• Jessica is surprised by Decimus speaking english twice. Either a mistake or her memory is not that great.
Overall, I see potential. Might check out the sequels.
